Evan Morris

Founding Partner

Evan Morris

Student, University of Minnesota.

Evan is the first and only finalist in Regeneron ISEF history to receive two Top Awards in the same year: the Mary Sue Coleman Award for Life Science Innovation & Impact and the Dudley R. Herschbach SIYSS Award in 2026. That year, he also earned first place in Cellular and Molecular Biology after placing second in the same category in 2025.

He is a National STEM Champion, Yale Young Global Scholar, and Y Combinator Startup School invitee. He is also a member of Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Honor Society, and the Minnesota Junior Academy of Science. Evan holds a first-degree black belt in Taekwondo, has played competitive soccer throughout his life, and won three consecutive state championships. His journalism has been nationally recognized and published by organizations such as Best of SNO.

In high school, Evan remained deeply involved in his school community. As student body vice president, he passed dozens of proposals. As a Science Olympiad lab event lead, he helped his team place first among small schools in the state. As Plant Club president, he created his school's first pollinator garden.

Evan conducted wet-lab and computational neuroscience research at the University of Minnesota for three years across three laboratories. He used cutting-edge techniques, including sonogenetics, to develop novel systems for improving therapeutic neuromodulation. He is also the founder and CEO of Averic, a neurotechnology venture focused on expanding access to neuromodulation.

Evan has competed at every level of the science fair system, from regional and state competitions to ISEF and JSHS. He brings current, firsthand knowledge of project positioning, compliance, presentation, questioning, and judging. Beyond his international recognition, he has received seven distinct awards at non-ISEF science fairs. Across his research career, Evan has competed against thousands of students and served on multiple boards and associations, gaining deep insight into how decisions are made at the highest levels.

Today, Evan remains actively involved in science fairs, sponsoring an award at his local and state competitions while serving as a middle school judge. His multifaceted background allows him to combine strategic expertise with a nuanced understanding of identity, motivation, and storytelling. Clients working with Evan can expect extremely direct, honest, and highly personalized guidance grounded in firsthand experience at every step.

Fun fact: Evan cares for a GFP melanoid axolotl named Tenen and has created four custom Anthurium hybrids in a greenhouse he built.

Samuel Skotnikov

Founding Partner

Samuel Skotnikov

Student, Harvard College.

Samuel received the Gordon E. Moore Award at Regeneron ISEF 2025, the fair’s top award, given to the single project judged to have the greatest potential for enduring generational impact. That project, a brain-controlled prosthetic leg, was built for one of his best friends. It drew national coverage from NPR and CBS and interest from the MIT Biomechatronics Lab and Medtronic, and is now incorporated as CortexLimb LLC. He returned to ISEF in 2026 with NeuroPatch, a photoacoustic brain-computer interface he designed and validated end-to-end.

He has also competed internationally in DECA, placing second globally in the Zurn Elkay Water Innovation Challenge and fourth globally in the NPCF Social Impact Leader of Tomorrow challenge. In robotics, he was a Dean’s List Finalist at the FIRST Tech Challenge World Championship. He founded his school’s first Science Olympiad team and competed across Astronomy, Machines, Electric Vehicle, and Robot Tour.

Samuel is an incoming Harvard freshman studying biomedical engineering and applied mathematics, and the co-founder of Lucen Labs, a neurotechnology company developing transcranial focused ultrasound methods for non-invasive neural readout through the intact skull. His work is completely hands-on as he designs his own PCBs in KiCad, writes his own embedded firmware, and builds his own machine learning pipelines. Every device he has entered in competition, he has built himself.

Along with a firsthand knowledge of the ISEF landscape, Samuel has had to navigate Scientific Review Committee approval for genuinely difficult protocols, including focused ultrasound, laser, and high-voltage hardware. He understands compliance as a design constraint. His guidance is grounded in work he has actually done. Students working with Samuel should expect to have their own project interrogated before a judge or SRC gets the chance.

Fun fact: Samuel built a personal AI assistant named Atlas that runs his calendar over iMessage, largely so he could stop losing arguments with his own scheduling.

Ameya Kharade

Founding Partner

Ameya Kharade

Student, Nashua High School South.

Ameya is a two-time Regeneron ISEF Grand Award winner, placing first in Behavioral Neuroscience in 2025 and second in Biomedical Engineering in 2026. His work focuses on computational neuroscience, neuroimaging, and brain-computer interfaces.

He has conducted research at MIT, the University of Pittsburgh, and Massachusetts General Hospital. Ameya’s work ranges from computational models of Alzheimer’s disease and cancer to deep learning for functional brain aging and methods for large-scale neuroimaging. In 2026, he presented two first-author papers at the Organization for Human Brain Mapping conference in Bordeaux, including CREB, a new method for harmonizing multi-site neuroimaging data.

Ameya is also the sole inventor of HALO-Vox, a patent-pending noninvasive speech BCI built around an information-theoretic framework for decoding user intent. He developed the system independently and validated its core framework across 111 randomized human trials. HALO-Vox received the Second Place Grand Award in Biomedical Engineering at ISEF 2026. He is now a co-founder of Lucen Labs, a neurotechnology company developing a new approach to noninvasive neural imaging and communication.

Beyond ISEF, Ameya is a GENIUS Olympiad Gold Medalist and International Research Olympiad Silver Medalist, where he placed second globally among more than 3,000 competitors from 80 countries. He was selected as a Non-Trivial Research Fellow and received its merit scholarship. Ameya was also invited to Y Combinator’s Startup School cohort in San Francisco.

Outside research, Ameya co-founded TechPals, a nonprofit that has grown to more than 40 chapters across 20 states and seven countries, with over 500 student volunteers teaching digital literacy to older adults. He led an initiative with the New Hampshire Governor’s Office that established April as Senior Digital Literacy Awareness Month statewide and was selected for the Carnegie Young Leaders for Civic Preparedness Fellowship.

Ameya has competed throughout the science-fair system while also presenting research at professional scientific conferences. He brings an extremely multifaceted approach to presentation and public speaking. Ameya knows how to adjust presentation styles to the event. From professional conferences abroad to science fairs to local classrooms, Ameya has seen nearly everything and is ready to help you navigate every step of the way.

Fun Fact: Ameya loves going on walks, and has once gone on a 31-mile walk in 90° F New Hampshire heat!

Aakash Manaswi

Aakash Manaswi

Top Award, Peggy Scripps Award for Science Communication, and first place at ISEF, Animal Sciences, 2026

Aakash is a first-place Regeneron ISEF Grand Award winner and recipient of ISEF’s Peggy Scripps Award for Science Communication. He was also named one of America’s Top 10 Young Scientists through the 3M Young Scientist Challenge. His project, a three-year continuation focused on a nonchemical carbon dioxide treatment for varroa mites in honeybee hives, reflects his strength in iterating on and advancing a single idea over time. He specializes on continuation projects and the Florida region.

Fun fact: Aakash founded his own band in his hometown and also plays guitar.

Benedikt Kienle

Benedikt Kienle

Lancaster Country Day School, Lancaster, Pennsylvania

Top Award, Dudley R. Herschbach SIYSS Award, and first place at ISEF, Chemistry, 2026

Benedikt is a first-place Regeneron ISEF Grand Award winner in Chemistry and a recipient of the Dudley R. Herschbach SIYSS Award, which sends him to Stockholm during Nobel Week. He synthesized four new iridium catalysts for cleaner pharmaceutical manufacturing with Prof. Edward Rajaseelan at Millersville University, and is a published author with the International Union of Crystallography. He came from Munich as an exchange student and specializes in international students entering the American competition system.

Fun fact: Benedikt has worked as a professional voice actor since 2016. He can be heard in the German dubs of the most recent Doctor Strange and of Bridgerton.

First place at ISEF, Computational Biology and Bioinformatics, 2025, on the three-student team with Arnav Sharma and Aryav Das

Samarth is a first-place Regeneron ISEF Grand Award winner in Computational Biology and Bioinformatics, for work identifying KRT proteins as ALS biomarkers and PT150 as a neuroprotective candidate. He also took first place at the 2025 Arizona Regional Brain Bee and competed at the national level. He specializes in computational projects and the Arizona region.

Fun fact: In Samarth’s prime, he designed over 100 custom car figurines for his friends.

Aryav is a two-time first-place Regeneron ISEF Grand Award winner across two different categories. He is also a research collaborator with MIT Critical Data, a research intern at Brown University, and a former student in MIT’s Beaver Works Summer Institute.

Fun fact: Aryav loves to play soccer and has played for school and club all his life. His favorite player is CR7.

Lula is a three-time Regeneron ISEF Grand Award winner, a research intern at Yale, and the founder and CEO of Kids Cancer Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. She specializes in BMED/TMED and the broader Connecticut region.

Fun facts: Lula is an avid drawer and loves to play beach volleyball in her free-time.

Gopalaniket (Aniket) Tadinada

North Oldham High School, Louisville, Kentucky

Second place at ISEF, Biomedical Engineering, 2026, plus category placements at ISEF in 2024 and 2025

Aniket is a three-time Regeneron ISEF Grand Award winner, a research assistant at Columbia University and Fred Hutch, and a Teen Board member at Norton Children’s. He has also held research positions at the University of Louisville and UPMC and worked as a grader for Kumon North America. After competing in the ENBM category for three years, Aniket understands how to stand out year after year.

Fun fact: Aniket loves to thrift and has made $2000+ restoring and flipping vintage pieces.
